Spray tanning has taken the beauty market by storm, providing both women and men of all ages, a way to get and maintain a healthy looking tan, without being exposed to the sun's harmful rays and those of a sunbed.

Relying on a natural chemical process, you are lightly sprayed with Dihydroxyacetone (DHA) which is simply a colourless sugar. The DHA reacts with the proteins and amino acids in the outer layer of your skin (epidermis) to produce a golden brown colour. (Its a similar process to how sliced apples go brown when sprinkled with sugar). 
 
A spray tan can be applied in your home, back yard or even at the office.
